Applications are invited by Municipal Council, Supaul for the Recruitment of Accountant, Tax Collector, Computer Operator, Driver and Worker on different salary purely on contract basis for a period of one year. Candidates, who fulfill the eligibility criteria for the posts are required send their application in prescribed format with appropriate application to Municipal Council, Supaul
1. Accountant : 01
Payment: Rs.25000 PM
Qualification: Bachelor of Commerce from a recognized university with relevant work experience of 3 years. Knowledge of Computer
2. Tax Collector (Controller) : 10
Payment: Rs.15000 PM
Qualifications: Graduate degree in any subject area from a recognized university with relevant experience of 2 to 3 years in any State / Private Organization
3. Computer Operator : 04
Salary: Rs.15000 PM
Qualifications: Graduate degree in any subject area from a recognized university with diploma in Computer application like MS Word
4. Driver :04
Payment: Rs.5000 PM
Qualifications: Candidates should have a valid Heavy Motor Vehicles Driving License
5. Worker : 59
Payment: Rs.5000 PM
Qualifications: Candidates should be literate and familiar with cleaning techniques. Candidates who have concerned work experience in any Municipal Council / NGO Organization are preferable
Age: Minimum age 18 years and Maximum age 27 years for all the Posts. Relaxations are available for reserved category as per State Govt. Rule. Age and age with relaxation will be reckoned
Application Fees: Candidates who are going to apply against the post No. 1 to 3 are required to pay application fees of Rs.200 (Rs.100 for SC / ST) and who are going to apply against Post No. 4 & 5 are required to pay of Rs.100 (Rs.50 for ST / ST) in the form of demand draft in favour of Executive Officer, Municipal Council, Supaul.
Selection Procedure: Selection will be made on the basis of Interview only which will be organized from at Municipal Council, Supaul. For appearing in the interview candidates will not be paid any TA / DA
How to apply: Candidates are required to apply on A4 size plain paper giving complete details and affixing a Latest passport size photograph on it. A Complete application all respect with demand draft and copies of supporting documents should be sent by Courier / Registered Post to the “Municipal Council, Supaul”

The District of Supaul had been a part of Mithilanchal since the Vedic period. The area has been referred to as the fishery area (Matsya Kshetra) in the Hindu mythology. The two oldest democracies namely Angutaran and Apadnigam are known for their existence in the Buddhist era, which comprises of today’s area of district Supaul. Supaul is situated at 25 deg 37’-26 deg 25’ N latitude and 86 deg 22’-87 deg 10’ E longitude. Soil is alluvial type. The river Koshi flows through the district which is consider as the sorrow of not only this area, but whole of the state of Bihar,tilyugachhaimra,kali,tilawe,bhenga,mirchaiya,sursar are the tributaries to it .The type of soil is sandy. Some where it is acetic and somewhere it is basic in nature. Supaul district in Bihar covers an area of 2,420 sq km.Supaul district is part of the Koshi division.Supaul town is the administrative headquarter of the district. The district is bounded by Nepal in the north, Saharsa in the south, by Araria district in the east and on the west by Madhubani district. National Informatics Centre, Supaul was established in the year 1999. It is situated along the border of Saharsa, Madhepura, Darbhanga. NIC Supaul had developed different software to monitors different schemes of DRDA such as SGSY , JGSY etc and implemented by DRDA ,Supaul. Due emphasis was given on computerization of different departments in the district, notable among them being TREASURY, DRDA etc. Fund of DRDA was allocated among different schemes of different panchayat in the district with the help of Computer. Computerization in Treasury were done at Supaul, Bihar.
