Job or Vacancy Description:
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following posts in KLE Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Mattikopp, Tq. Bailhongal, Dist. Belgaum (Karnataka). It is funded by Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi.

Name of Post : PROGRAMME CO-ORDINATOR (PC) : 01
Qualifications : Doctoral Degree in relevant field of Agriculture /Horticulture / Animal Sciences / Fisheries including relevant basic sciences with 4 years experience as Scientist / Lecturer / Extension specialist or in an equivalent position in the Pay scale of Rs.8000 to 13,500 (Pre-revised) having made contribution to research/ teaching / extension education as evinced by published work / innovations.
Desirable : Specialization in implementing extension education programmes.
Age : Not more than 45 years

Name of Post : SUBJECT MATTER SPECIALISTS / T-6 Agronomy, Horticulture, Home science, Animal Science, Soil science, Plant protection (Entomology or Plant Pathology)  : 06
Qualifications : Master’s Degree in the relevant field or equivalent qualifications from recognized university
Desirable : Two years working experience in extension education programmes.
Age : Not more than 45 years

Name of Post : T-4 PROGRAMME ASSISTANT LAB TECHNICIAN : 03
Qualifications : B.Sc.(Agri) / Horticulture / Chemistry
Desirable : Two years experience of working in soil and water testing/plant diagnostic labs. M.Sc.,(Agri) in Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry.

Name of Post : T-4 PROGRAMME ASSISTANT (COMPUTER)  : 01
Qualifications : B.Sc. (Computer Science) / Bachelor’s degree in Computer Application / B. Tech/B.E (Computer Science& Engg.)
Desirable : Two years experience in handling Agri-based data in computer
Age : Not more than 30 years

Name of Post : T-4 FARM MANAGER  : 01
Qualifications : B.Sc. in Agri./ Animal Science / Horticulture
Age : Not more than 30 years
Desirable : One year experience in Farm management

Name of Post : STENOGRAPHER Grade-III  : 01
Qualifications : 12th class or equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
Age : Maximum 27 Years

Name of Post : T-1 DRIVER : 02
Qualifications : Matriculation pass qualification from a recognized board.
Desirable : i. One year trade certificate in the relevant field from ITI, OR ii. Driving Experience in a recognized institution OR iii. Experience of motor mechanic work
Age : Maximum 30 years

Name of Post : SKILLED SUPPORT STAFF : 02
Qualifications : Middle School Standard pass and should know cycling.
Age : Maximum 30 years

General Instructions:
1. The entire notification along with the detailed qualification and application pro-forma prescribed for each of the categories of the posts notified is accessible from the website http://klesociety.org of the KLE society, Belgaum. The candidates have to obtain application pro-forma through website only
2. Separate applications should be made for each post.
3. The society reserves the right to fill in any or all the vacancies.
4. Candidates already in service should submit their applications through their Employer. They should also ensure that the application reaches the society on or before the last date prescribed. If any delay in sending the application through proper channel is anticipated, an advance copy of the application should be sent within the last date prescribed.
5. Applicants are required to send copies of statement of marks in the different examinations and copies of certificates furnishing the service particulars along with the application.
6. Applicants, if called for interview should be prepared to appear before the selection committee, at their own cost at the place indicated.
7. Applications received after the due/last date and incomplete application will be rejected.
8. KVK shall function as prescribed under the Act and Statutes of ICAR.
9. Persons with working knowledge of Kannada will be given preference. Knowledge of reading and writing in Kannada is desirable for all the posts
10. Any pressure brought on the selection committee or the members of the Board of Directors by a candidate will disqualify the candidature for the post.
11. If the number of applicants is large, the society may restrict the number of candidates for interview to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the Advertisement.
12. The candidates who have studied under Trimester system and other than 10 point grading system are required to produce the equivalent percentage certificate obtained from the respective university.
13. Applications must be accompanied by attested copies of Marks sheets, Certificates, Experience Certificates, Publications, Research Notes, Certificates of Awards/Medals, Certificate related to past service etc. and the details of research or related publication, if any , in support of eligibility.
14. Candidates already in service (Government /Quasi Government / Private) should submit their applications through proper channel.
15. The envelop in which application is being sent should super scribe with the name of the post applied.
