Punjab Information & Communication Technology Corporation requires the following :

Data Entry Operator  : 150 or more posts, Payment: Rs. 7000/- + EPF + ESI per month (Consolidated)

How to apply : Walk-In-Interview will be held on 29/10/2011 and 30/10/2011 between 10.00 am and 1.00 pm.

Punjab Infotech has been instrumental in notification of the Industrial Policy 2009 with special focus on incentives for the IT and Knowledge industry Active promotion through on-ground activities aimed at information dissemination, proactive investor outreach programmes and an effective Single Window Service.To position Punjab firmly in the mind of every IT investor as one of the most competitive investment destinations.To create an enabling ecosystem for IT investors by focusing on policy advocacy and reform, facilitating infrastructure and human capital development and proactive engagement with investors.Government of Punjab, through Punjab Information & Communication Technology Corporation Limited (Punjab Infotech) has prepared a Detailed Road Map, Strategy and Action Plan with the assistance of M/s Ernst & Young for promoting investments in the IT Sector in the State. The State is currently taking a number of steps to implement the action plan and has identified various opportunities for developing infrastructure such as IT Parks/ SEZs in the State of Punjab to attract IT industry in the State. The State has also enacted its own Special Economic Zone 2009 Act and has recently announced its new Industrial Policy 2009 with the thrust on IT sector. The State has further identified a number of projects at various locations such as Rajpura, Kapurthala, Rail Majra and Ropar.
