13. Religious Teacher (JCO)
Number of Vacancies : For recruitment rally at Dimapur (nagaland) : 373 Posts , For recruitment rally at Guwahati (Assam) : 408 Posts
Age Limit : Between 18 to 23 years as on 01.08.2011. Upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years to OBC and 5 years to SC/ST Candidates
Application Fee : DD for Rs. 50/- and self addressed registered envelope in favour of the Directorate General Assam Rifles payable at SBI DGAR, Shillong, Code No. 7338
How to Apply: Candidates shall forward their applications as per the attached format to the address mentioned below along with a Demand Draft for Rs. 50/- (Rupees fifty only) and self addressed registered envelope in favour of the Directorate General Assam Rifles payable at SBI DGAR, Shillong, Code No. 7338 so as to reach this Directorate on or before 04 Aug 2011.
General Instructions:
- Each particular to appear on a new line and end with‘:’ (colon).
- Do not use more than one line for details. All details to be in CAPITAL letters only.
- Use only ‘Arial’ or ‘Verdana’ Fonts for print out and do not use more than one font. Font sizeshould be between 10 and 14. Do not make it bold, italics or underline. All forms need to be ‘printed or typed ’. No hand-written forms will be accepted.
- Information of all fields to be supplied for fast processing. Use only black ink to print the application. Incorrect form will not be considered for further processing.
- Demand Draft for Rs 50/- (Rupees fifty only) (applicable to General and OBC candidates only) in avour of the Directorate General Assam Rifles, on SBI DGAR, Shillong, Code No. 7338 be enclosed with this application for issue of call letter. Bank demand draft issued by other than SBI as well as postal orders will not be accepted. “APPLICATION FOR TECHNICAL TRADE RALLY AT DIMAPUR” OR “APPLICATION FOR TECHNICAL TRADE RALLY AT GUWAHATI”, be endorsed on top of the cover under which the application is being submitted.
- Educational and other supporting documents are not required to be submitted alongwith the application. This form will be processed through Computer (OCR).

About the organization:
HQ DGAR located at Shillong. Two HQ IGAR operationally deployed. Nine Sector HQs operationally deployed. 46 Battalions of Assam Rifles. Conduct counter insurgency operations in the north-east and other areas where deemed necessary, under control of the army. The HQs of all other Central Para Military Forces are located at Delhi. HQ Inspector General Assam Rifles comes next in chain of command after HQ DGAR.
